A bumper year is ahead for us. We are fortunate that despite any difficulties we encounter, we are going to experience an historic year together.
How wonderful that it will bring The Golden Jubilee. We can show the Queen what she means to us and honour her lifetime’s gentle work. It will be an exhausting year for her, such endless dedication is inspiring.
And the Olympic Games too! The preparations have been so well organised, what a huge achievement it is even now.
The more news I hear, the luckier I feel to live here. No, it is not perfect…but here’s to 2012 with the sincere wish that we all come to an adult appreciation how very, VERY lucky we are.
